Size Guide
Find the Right Fit
Choosing the correct size helps keep your pet comfortable and secure. Always use the measurements listed below rather than relying only on breed, weight, or your pet’s usual size.
Use a soft measuring tape and make sure it sits comfortably without pulling too tightly. If your pet falls between sizes or is still growing, we generally recommend choosing the larger size.
Trek Harness
Choose your dog’s harness size primarily by measuring the widest part of the chest, directly behind the front legs. Weight can be used as a secondary reference.
| Size | Recommended Weight | Chest Girth |
|---|---|---|
| S | 15–30 lb | 17–24 in |
| M | 25–55 lb | 22–31 in |
| L | 40–75 lb | 26–35 in |
| XL | 75–105 lb | 31–41 in |
How to Measure
Wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest part of your dog’s ribcage, directly behind the front legs.
The tape should be secure but not tight. If your dog falls between sizes, choose the larger size for a more comfortable and adjustable fit.
Collars
Collar sizing varies by style. Please use the sizing chart for the specific collar you are ordering rather than relying only on your dog’s usual collar size.
Velvet Collar
Measure around your dog’s neck where the collar would naturally sit. You should be able to comfortably fit two fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck.
| Size | Neck Girth |
|---|---|
| XS | 9–13 in / 23–33 cm |
| S | 12–16 in / 30–42 cm |
| M | 15–20 in / 38–51 cm |
| L | 18–22 in / 45–56 cm |
| XL | 20–25 in / 50–62 cm |
If your dog falls between sizes, choose the larger size and adjust the collar for a comfortable, secure fit.
Please double-check your dog’s neck measurement before purchasing, particularly when ordering an engraved or personalized collar.
TREK™ Collar
The TREK™ Collar uses its own sizing. Measure your dog’s neck where the collar will naturally sit and compare the measurement with the chart below.
| Size | Neck Girth |
|---|---|
| Medium | 13.5–16.5 in / 34–42 cm |
| Large | 17–20.5 in / 43–50 cm |
| Extra Large | 20–24 in / 51–61 cm |
How to Measure Your Dog’s Neck
Wrap a soft measuring tape around your dog’s neck where the collar would naturally sit. Keep the tape flat and comfortably secure without pulling it tightly.
You should be able to fit two fingers between the measuring tape and your dog’s neck. If your dog falls between sizes or is still growing, choose the larger size for additional adjustment room.
